One of the principals here owns the wood-fired BBQ from the House of Liu, a
restaurant that used to be in Landover Mall.  HoL closed in '87 (if memory
serves), because the mall wanted too much rent.  The BBQ was in a glassed-in
enclosure with its own hood to vent the smoke from the wood fire (and the
steam from the cooking, of course) directly out of the restaurant to the
outside.  When you ordered Mongolian Barbecue, one of the chefs would come
out with bowls full of meat and vegetables, procure seasonings from the stash
in the enclosure, and cook while you watched.

We practice the art of barbecue whenever possible, in search of the perfect
blend of seasonings and meats.
