There is also a new warehouse club just opened in Woodbridge
called BJ's warehouse. Since they are new, getting a membership
will be easier than at Price Club. It's kinda open registration
right now.
There are Pace Warehouse clubs in Landover and Waldorf, if you
can get a membership.
Premier memberships at all the clubs are $25./yr.

Safeway and Giant are both very expensive. When I moved here
about 1.5 years ago, I too was shocked by the prices. Since
then I have shopped around and found the most consistantly
low prices in my area (Lake Ridge/Woodbridge) to be at Weis
Market. And I watch for sales on certain items at the other
stores, but don't regularly shop at them.

I've heard the prices are higher, because since the cost
of living is so high, they have to pay their employees more
and then transfer the cost to the merchandise. But I don't
know if that is a true statement.
