I normally just refrigerate my coffee beans. I put them in the smallest glass jars that will hold what I have, and make sure the lids are on tight. I grind about a 3-4 day supply when needed, and store /that/ in a glass peanut butter jar with a metal cap. I've never had the slightest problem with the coffee. The longest I've ever kept it around, though, is probably a month or three. (I used to buy half a pound of French Roast and mix the beans in with lighter roasts as I saw fit, and the French Roast often stayed around for quite a while.) I figure I'm taking MUCH better care of the coffee, once I get it home, than Safeway or Giant might in their market. Probably better care than the roasting shops would, although I'd hope they move their merchandise a lot faster, too. * Origin: 3 Point 14159 (1:109/70.4214)
