"Madras", referred to in some of the earlier posts as an Indian vegetarian
restaurant on Conn. Ave. NW near the Cleveland Park Metro, has changed
management and is no longer vegetarian.

It's now called "Indian Kitchen" and, while it still has lots of
vegetarian dishes, also serves meat.

The veggie dishes were not so great when the new management came in
but in my opinion they've improved with time. Can't comment on the
meat dishes.
