Authentic Mexican restaurants in Montgomery County?

Southern Calif transplant here in Germantown, MD.  Where are the
authentic Mexican restaurants in Montgomery County, MD?

I have been to Pepitos in Gaithersburg, Taco Bar, Rio Grande, and
Guapos at the Washingtonian, and the cheaper El Mexicano in
Germantown.  All were just okay.  However, nobody seems to do their
carnitas properly.  Sorry, Chipotle is not Mexican!  I want them
carnitas chopped in smaller chunks, crispy outside, soft inside,
served either with tacos or burritos, SoCal style.  I've heard of some
places down in DC or VA, but I don't really want to drive that far for
mex food.  Any suggestions?  any places up in Frederick?
