Hello, my name is Anand and I am the owner of the website Desidabba.com


I came to the US in 2004. I was a bachelor then and new to the way
things are in this country. I had a hectic work schedule and didnt have
the time or energy left after i was done with my work. The thing that
suffered the most was my eating habbits. I used to eat in restaurants
twice a day and skip my breakfast. I got bored of the monotonous
restaurant food. It was turning out to be expensive, too.

I tried cooking on my own. It wasnt simple. I had to search for
recepies, find the correct pots and pans, fbuy the ingredients, cut
vegetables etc. and then do my cooking. After all this the food didnt
taste good :(. It proved to be very tiring as I had to do the clean the
mess in the end. It was way too much to handle. Its then I got the idea
of this website. My aim is to bring the affordable and healthy homefood
caterers in contact with the needy people like me.

I have got good feedback from food suppliers, caterers, families where
both the couples are working and ofcourse, bachelors :). It has been
fun interacting with them and developing this website.
