Hi everyone...

Sorry to intrude on this dining newsgroup, but this seemed like a
perfect place to post this question. I am visiting DC in a few weeks
for a student conference and will be staying with a friend in Cleveland
Park. I am wondering if there is any free street parking during the
week, preferably in the Cleveland Park area. I am willing to consider
other areas along the Red Line (I'll be shuttling between Dupont/Adams
Morgan/Cleveland Park metro stations), but would prefer that it be
within walking distance of the 3400 block of Conn. Avenue NW, because
I'd like to be able to park the car for three days (Tues/Wed/Thurs) and
not worry about its being towed or broken into.

I've heard that there's free parking during the week on Porter Street
east of the 3500 block of Conn. Ave. NW, but I'd prefer not to rely on
the hypothetical possibility of a few rumored spaces being available!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
