So is your vehicle here? now imagine since the average vehicle seems to
take 100 or even more extra feet to go from 80-0 than from 60-0, how long
is it going to take you to go from 90-0 or 100-0? how many football fields
are you goig to cross. And if your children or spouse are in the car, is
thier life worth your hurry?
I'm not saying that i consider 100 mph to be speeding, i consider it to be
reckless. Speed does not kill. Even the insurance industry is now copping
to this fact. recklessness is what kills. I don't consider 10 over
speeding nor do most of the law enforcement officers that I know. but they
will peg you for 20 over if you're doing something else and most people
are doing something else because 90 percent of the time, in order to go 20
over you need to be doing other things that are dangerous or even
reckless. Changing lanes to go around the guy that's already going 10 over
for example. if you're really in such a hurry that you have to take these
unneccesary risks, leave five minutes or better yet fifteen minutes
earlier.
