Actually, that's a good point. You should never admit to anything
unless you've been charged.. Anything you say works against you in
court.

You'll note, for example, how cops ask all kinds of questions up until
the time they actually write you that ticket. Then they ask nothing.
There's a reason for that. If you go to court, they can use everything
you said to fry you.
