I agree totally. I'm in the same situation. The worst part is that older
people tend to drive 4000-5000 pound boats, which many I have seen
cannot safely handle, and if they run their barge into the side of an
average-sized car, it would be disastrous.

In one area near where I live, there's several stores on either side of
the road, which is 4-lane (2 lanes, 2 directions), with a turning lane
in the middle. I have seen way too many little old ladies in Cadillacs
with half of their car in the turn lane, half in a traffic lane.
