There is no problem with breaking axles if you use a 4-bolt rear end (stock on 93 and up cars). I haven't heard of many transfer cases breaking. Center differentials are in danger of breaking on cars that run low 12s or faster. However, with proper driving techniques (slip the clutch when launching at 5000RPMs, DON'T drop it!), you can keep it in tact. And if you are worried about it, you can upgrade the center differential from a 2 spider gear version to a 4 spider gear version for $500 and get rid of the problem once and for all. > >Yea, the vette will go faster. Yea, you can use drag radials on the street if you want. You still won't launch as hard as a Talon. Oh, and the Talon can use them too. But a Talon can pull a 1.65 60 ft time on regular old Summer tires! Drag radials are not slicks.
