There is another way of doing things than V8s believe it or not. A simple wastegate mod and minor tinkering with the electronics of most modern turbocharged cars will put _any_ stock Mustang to shame for just a few dollars. I spent less than $20 to humiliate the last 5.0L owner that challenged me. I never got the chance to tell him he got smoked by 1588ccs of 4 banger. Best guess is that it's worth an extra 50HP in my car with other minor tweaks that cost me next to nothing. >> Havn't driven a turbo (that I know of) so maybe I'm wrong... > >Doh! Well there you go. There's nothing quite like the feeling of all four wheels hooking up in the rain. Only another AWD has a chance off the line. Oh, BTW it snowed here for the first time this year just the other day. 1" of snow paralyzed most a them V8'ers. I, OTOH, went out to play on a deserted stretch of road to practice my high speed power drifting . . . -- Kip C. Anderson kca at rio dot com 91 Impulse RS AWD Turbo (with studs)
