Actually, I'd rather save my fog lights for fog, but until people don't
park in the left lane, I have to resort to this. It's not a
rationalization. People DO get out of your way.

Because I don't have to flip a switch when I turn the car on. It's a
toggle switch-- the fog lights automatically go on when you turn on the
headlights. You should learn about these new fangled contraptions.

What I've come to understand is that most of the people who don't
automatically move over when fast traffic is approaching are the same
people who take it personally when you flash highbeams at 'em. Maybe it's
because they're juvenile and they take a highbeam flash personally, maybe
it's because they just don't know what it means. The point is, it doesn't
get them out of the way. In fact, it often makes them confrontational and
more agressive. I'd rather not deal with that, thank you very much.

Resorting to name calling already? That's mighty adult of you. You're
not one of the people who takes a high beam flash personally, are you?
