Along the line of VA cops getting uptight about radar detectors- I guy I know has a laser detector and was driving in VA. Pretty soon, he was pulled over, and the cop tried to write him up for a radar detector. It took four cops, and a couple of hours to convince them that it wasn't one... On another note, I was talking with a guy who works up at the Social Security Admin in Baltimore who has his own x-band radar gun. He bought it at a ham show, and fixed it up. He says he was driving thru VA a while ago, and was turning the radar gun on and off just for fun, and he was surprised at the number of brake lights that came on when he did it........ Mark
