Can be good advice. DC needs to hire only morons to write thousands
of tickets, but to hold a traffic court requires someone with at least
a high school diploma. If more persons fought unjust tickets, it could
tie up the system to the point where it became less profitable for DC.
This would require more than any one person is capable of (unless you
spent a lot of time fishing for tickets :).)
Another thing to check with any ticket is that it's filled out completely
and correctly. I had a DC cop write a ticket for a moving violation
and he forgot to sign it. I was moving out of the area temporarily,
and got it dismissed by mail. Another aquaitance got a parking ticket
(with a bonus registeration expired) and they wrote down MD instead
of VA. Anyway, it pays to check.
