In <35BB4356.167EB0E7@home.com> Brian Wilborn complains: ... >> Motorists who create obstructions get not part of the blame, but ALL of >> the blame, for CREATING THE OBSTRUCTION. But if you then go and do >> something rash, like getting mad and crashing into somebody, you get ALL >> the blame for GETTING MAD. >Uh huh. So that white car that had somehow spun out in the #3 lane on >I-80 at one in the morning would have been totally at fault for being an >obstruction had I not narrowly missed it (avoiding a potentailly >life-threatening accident) because I was looking at the construction of >the I-880 flyover ramp? My not paying attention to the road (like I >should have) would have had no basis of fault in the potential accident? Had you crashed into it, you would have been 100% at fault for crashing into it. Apparently you didn's, so you don't get any blame. However, it's not clear that you got mad at anybody, so you do get 100% of the blame for entirely missing the point of what I said. -- Rahul Dhesi <dhesi@spams.r.us.com> a2i communications, a quality ISP "Life is an obstacle course.
