I must admit, I have never been a big fan of Klinton.  But when I
watched on TV as his plane took-off for NY, I too felt just a little
bad.

Here was a man that took credit for everything; constantly patting
himself on the back.  And, to his credit, who else could have brought
about the welfare reform that we have witnessed over the past 8 years. 
A Republican? No way.  Here was a man that everyone called a "bleeding
heart liberal".  But when he was asked about the death penalty, he
basically said, 'it is needed'.  Some liberal!

Mister Raygun told us twice that he would balance the budget and pay off
the national debt.  It was not not until Slick Willy sat down in the
Oral Office that it actually materialized.  Should he get full credit? 
Nope.  Does he deserve at least 50% of the credit.  Hell yes!

And as he left office, just about every comedy show in the nation had
some parody of the ex-prez as a womanizing sex maniac.  Here is a man
that was President during the longest economic boom in our nations
history.  And, only the second President ever to be impeached.  Did he
commit perjury?  Well if what he did with Monica is not sex, then I must
be missing something.  How will history treat this man?  What will our
great grandchildren learn about him in books?  Having lived through it
for 8 years, even I am a bit foggy at best.

I guess my problem now is, just who is going to give us this level of
controversy?  I have sort of grown accustomed to it over the past 8
years.
