as one of the hoards of transplants to this area, im not overly familiar with
things that existed beyond my tenure here. all that i know is that back when
i was living in pennsylvania, i never listened to commercial radio. there
were always good college radio stations that had broadcast radii of anywhere
from 15-100mi from their towers. used to actually hear new bands BEFORE they
had a major label signing. used to actually hear something other than the MTV
buzz bin equivalents that the locals here play. are there no broadcasting
college stations in this area?
