pine colors in Gnu terminal??

	I run pine 4.44 on my ISP's machine, ssh-ing in through an
ordinary GNU terminal emulation program (not an xterm).

	I've managed to get the foreground & background tolerable,
and backspace to do what I want (neither of which I could do on an
xterm), but I get no result at all when I try setting any sort of
colors otherwise.

	I gather I can -- or rather, should be able to -- use
colors to distinguish, say, messages from particular lists in my
inbox. Anybody know?
