saltmine:karhunhammas$ setenv DISPLAY 138.88.60.74:0
bash: setenv: command not found
saltmine:karhunhammas$ DISPLAY=138.88.60.74:0 export
DISPLAY
You have new mail in /var/mail/karhunhammas

from which of course I got back here with fg.
