I can't get my Mitsumi IDE/APAPI CDROM drive to mount. I'm running
Linux kernel version 1.2.13. When configuring my kernel, I say "yes"
to both "Normal (MFM/RLL) disk and IDE disk/cdrom support?" and
"Include support for IDE/ATAPI CDROMs?". I also say "yes" to "ISO9660
filesystem support?".
I'm using loadlin to boot linux as follows:
loadlin zimage root=/dev/hda2 hdc=cdrom ro
When I try to mount my cdrom filesystems, here's what I get:
bash# mount -t iso9660 -r /dev/cdrom /cdrom
mount: fs type iso9660 not supported by kernel
Here's what I get when I look at /proc/filesystems:
asynca170:~> cat /proc/filesystems
minix
ext2
msdos
nodev proc
nodev nfs
iso9660
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or is it possible that my
CDROM drive is not supported?
Thanks.
Josh
