If your are new to Linux and aren't familiar with your hardware, I'd
recommend Linux Universe - the Book and CD. It's $35 at Borders and
easily worth it. The installation is much easier and more complete than
the others. For ease of installation it's got it all over slackware and
Yggdrasil's. And while you're there, buy The Linux Bible. Those two
books (and the CD) are all the tree parts you'll need to get a fast start.
