: : : I've just installed Windows 95, and (of course!) it ironed : : over my MBR, so LILO doesn't let me choose any more. Linux boots just : : fine with the startup floppy (hurray!), but the question remains. Why don't you just use loadlin? I was surprised that 95 hosed my bootblock, but I stopped using lilo a while ago. Loadlin is actually a more efficiant way to load linux, since you don't have to reboot and mess with lilo.. Just type "linux" at the dos prompt. Just my $0.02. --Dave <sventek@clark.net>
