Complaints to >Giganews were referred to Comcast. Comcast points back at Giganews and >makes a face. Very childish. That's weird. I was an @Home user that got Borged into Comcast. I've never had that problem with the Comcast provided Giganews account. Hell. You're lucky. The original Comcast "plan" around here was not to provide Usenet access at *all*. It was only at the end due to mass pressure that they caved and subbed out to Giganews. That's a pisser problem. The finger pointing doesn't help. I'd get on the phone with your local government agency that controls Comcast. Or try going higher with Giganews. They have better support I think when it's not their "OEM" accounts. Grin. I will say tho that I was happier with @Home. Comcast is just...worse. But not bad enough to make me switch to DSL. Yet. Damn stupid @Home management. I mean come on. Excite.
