There are several student job opportunities available
in the scientific visualization dept. of the HLRZ at GMD,
Birlinghoven, near Bonn.

We are searching for students graduates willing to work themselves into
UNIX system administration and/or high level graphics programming to
support our research scientists.

Our environment includes graphics hardware such as a SGI skywriter,
virtual reality equipment and approx. 10 SGI indigos as well as
a video studio, and on the other hand massively parallel computers
as the CM2 connection machine.

Current projects comprise realtime visualization of scientific data from e.g.
supercomputer simulations and measurements.

Qualifications required/wanted should include knowledge in C/UNIX, eventually
C++ and SGI graphics library.
