Hello All I have a file in my servers whose data are in a varibles named "$contents". Can i put this in a directory of my PC, for example "C:\TEST\".? And can i take a file in a directory of my PC, for example "C:TEST\", and save it to my web site in a directory like "/home/usr/test/"? I try with simple functions like fopen, fwrite, etc. but it's doesn't work. Thank You. Jose Luis

Hi folks What would be the best way to create an email checker for a web1 based email? I mean some kind of external installable program. If anyone could give me some directions, I would appreciate. Siim Einfeldt

Fun area. Don't have time to answer this properly, but if you're trying to do what I *think* you are, you probably need an upload form - take a look at the PHP manual, under "Handling File Uploads" It gives a decent overview, and enough in the way of examples to get started.
