Anyone got Caldera 2.2 (kernel 2.2.5) working with ADSL? It seems that the dhcp client (ver 1.3.17) is unable to get the IP address (I have though both Rx and Tx packets!). Moreover, it's shutting down the eth0 card (3Com509, correctly installed). From what I read in other NGs, it seems that I'm missing some files (I wander why they were not created when I first choose the option DHCP?!). I need to find out what files are needed/involved in the dhcp process. !!! New: using tcpdump I found that actually I DO get an IP address, but I guess dhcpcd fails to write in a file (file missing?) I also updated to dhcpcd 1.3.17pl9-same thing. I also created /etc/dhcpcd-eth0.lease (and .cache), made copies in /etc/dhcpc and /var/db, - no progress. Pls help, someone! Mugur
