I have recently been having a long conversation with Steve Nutt, who uses cppnews with a screen-reading speech program. He is very enthusiastic about the program, but has pointed out a few drawbacks in the way the screen is updated, which sometimes foxes his speech program. I am now considering putting a lot of effort into cppnews to make it more "speech friendly". I now discover that there are at least two blind cppnews users, and I wonder if there are any more out there? If there are, I would like to involve you all in our discussions of the best way to improve cppnews for blind users. As this is, in theory, a public newsgroup (judging by the number of spams we get in here :-), I would also welcome contributions from any _potential_ users as well. If you know someone who isn't a cppnews user, but might want to be if it was more speech friendly, please ask them to join in. -- CPPNEWS news/mail reader for DIS.
