  Hello All, I'm here!

I think considering is a little modest, I think you already _have_ put
in a lot of effort. Thank you for that.

  Once again, here here!

I have one or two ideas of other people who may want to join in. I
will ask them first and if anything comes of it, I'll try and get them
  to join in as well.

Regarding our last conversation we had by mail, yes, I believe reading
out (or writing to BIOS) all the options then the currently selected
item is a good idea, but only once. I.e., when you move to the next
item, just send the current option through BIOS if possible. Hope
  this helps.

Thanks for a great program. By the way, I'll try to
get my wife Angie involved here too, as she uses CPPNews and is also
blind, so she relies on the same speech system as I do. Also,
following your request for blind people to get involved, may I also
put in a request for blind people particularly who use different
screen readers to the one I use. I use Vocal-Eyes by GW Micro, so if
any blind people out there use HAL, Flipper, JAWS or any screen
reader, do come in and hopefully, tell us how well these versions work
  with these particular speech packages.

  All the best
