Is there a simple way around this? Being a relative newbie here, I was somewhat reluctant to post to 'developers', but as it's the season of goodwill thought I'd chance my arm. Two more questions: (1) do you use textwin, and (2) does your monitor offer a character mode better than 80x25? If the answer to both of these is 'yes', you have a workaround, if not a solution. Ever since I installed textwin, I haven't looked back. I use a screen mode of 132x30 (finding 132x43 or 60 hard to read) and have yet to come across a pager problem using FTP. Please feel free to mail me directly if you need further info, as this reply is somewhat off-topic here. -- Pete
