Dear Mr. Jewell,
As far as we know, and we don't know much, there seems to be no
problem about receiving Henkes' emails to Daniel Hirsch in Sussex. It
looks to us that AOL receives the mail and "throws it away" whereas
Demon receives the mail and duly delivers it.
So the answer to your question seems to be, "possibly not".
However, in view of the dreadful reputation that AOL (America Online
Inc.) has built up (incidentally we just now checked for "aol" in the
list of Usenet newsgroups, and apart from "alt.walter-cronkite.shaolin-
temple", they all seem to -- in some way or other -- have "suck" in the
titles. All except the official newsgroups which are of the form
"aol.*") I would not take it for granted that your connection with AOL
is working as it best might.
We ourselves are at wits-end, and have phoned everyone we know to
get a perspective on what's going on with AOL. In fact we still await
further news from these newsgroups.
With The Season's Greetings,
Sandy and Kelly
