Anyone have any ideas why I can't record sounds using a Sony microphone? It's an ECM 959-A stereo mike and I'm plugging it directly into the Sound In port of my 7200. Looking at the manual I see that the 7200: "supports the Apple PlainTalk Microphone...and a standard stereo (miniplug-to-RCA) cable adapter for connecting stereo equipment to your computer" I guess the clue is here, but what is a miniplug-to-RCA adapter? Elsewhere it says: "...you can use the Apple PlainTalk Microphone which comes with some Macintosh computers (or a compatible line-level microphone) to record your voice or other sounds." I using the Sound Control Panel but all I 'record' is silence. Thanks in advance. David
