Following up my posting about PowerMac 6100 and the Radius Pivot, I got
this e-mail from Radius support which may be of interest:

  There is absolutely no need to get a PrecisionColor 8XJ card. In fact,
you
lose functionality because it will not allow pivoting. You would be stuck
in
landscape mode. The built-in video port is more than adequate to drive the
display, and you do not lose image quality in any way. I'd say someone is
trying
to sell you something you don't need.
  If you have ftp site access, you can download SoftPivot 3.2.1 from
ftp.radius.com as an anonymous user. The software is available from the
Radius
BBS as well. The phone number is 1-408-541-6190.


Just thought I'd take this opportunity to say how helpful Radius Online
Support (and in particular James) has been. A credit to the company.
