A PC formated Zip will not work on a Mac unless it has one of these two versions of the Mac OS 8.1 or 8.5, I am not sure which version it was that incorparated PC support. Any Mac OS 7 machine will not be able to use a PC formatted zip, believe me I have tried. The PC exchange works fine for floppy's because the drive is physically capable or reading a PC formatted disk. This is the same for the Zip drive but I think there is somethinmg to do with the drivers, the ones on the disk or the ones on the system folder. Archie Crawford
