Tidiness seems an inappropriate concept here. All sub-groups are contained in groups higher in the hierarchy. So, I'll keep my house tidy and even check on the street but the whole town...? Nothing in this group has seemed to me to be 'obsolete, crippled'. And I have been a long time reader and sometimes contributor. What we have is a collection of informative and specifically focused contributors (perhaps because they are Demon customers). Spam and trolling are low. The whole enterprise is enjoyable and not-too-high-a-volume. I have seen other groups grow to such a size that I have been reduced to collecting headers only, and then to restricting collection of *headers* to a manageable size, and finally to disabling collection. I hope we keep as we are and I am not cross-posting this. I don't wish to invite a barrage of contributions which wander from here to here (some well-meaning, others frivolous) which has happened in another NG. Keith Keith Crook keith@valperga.demon.co.uk
