I have just acquired a PRESARIO 2292 which has a trouble shooting
facility within it as well as MS Scandisk etc.running WIN98

I have got left over from my old (486) computer the Norton System Works
CD bought for me this Last Xmas and would like to use it. It worked fine
on unfreezing MS 95 and fixing crashes on that machine.

Is there a danger of a conflict if I were to install Norton as it does
seem to take over your HD. also both Norton and Compaq have a facility
to go on line and update the system.

Has anybody had experience  good or bad of  using Norton Works on a
Presario ? I dont want to screw my system up if I can avoid it .
Comment would be appreciated.
