Hi, I'd appreciate any help on the following problem that I am experiencing with a Dell Dimension P100C Multimedia, WFW 3.11, DOS 6.2, Creative Labs SB Card (16 Bit) sold as, I believe, Vibra16 software. There are several components to Ensemble: Ensemble CD, Ensemble Wave and Ensemble MIDI; each of these can be accessed individually or via a remote control ie:- Ensemble Remote. On starting Ensemble Remote, it automatically tries to start Ensemble CD, whereupon I continually hear the clicking of the CD drive ad nauseam, until such times as I insert a CD into the drive or I stop ensemble remote. If I start Ensemble Remote, and then choose say Ensemble MIDI, it still tries to access the CD continuously. Everything does work, however, its extremely annoying to go through this each time I want to use the Vibra 16 software. The same problem occurs if I access Ensemble CD directly also. I am convinced that this was not always the case, and that there is a file somewhere which has been somehow fudged. If anyone can help shed any light on this subject, I'd be more than grateful. Thanks Harvey.
