Windis 32 setup problem

I have recently upgraded to the new (Windows 95) version of Trumpet,
Windis, etc. I have finally managed to get Trumpet to work, but have
drawn a blank with Windis. I seem to have set up the servers and
options okay, but I get nowhere with it:

It won't collect e-mail at all

Finger returns a message saying "No host data record of required type"

Sending email makes the program attempt to connect and then "Failed to
connect to post.demon.co.uk" several times (once for each queued
message) very rapidly.

I haven't tried News, because I use Free Agent for that.

Any help gratefully accepted - I'd also like any advice on how to set
up Pegasus for Windis 32- I've followed the instructions, but it
neither sends nor receives.
