We tried doing both a soft-reset and a hard reset (from the case switch)
both of which kept the power to the drive up, but reset the controller.
We also had the controller sending a re-start signal to the drive, we
can hear the other drive attached spinning down and up again on the reset.
As mentioned in the previous post, the drive has only been turn on 6
times in seven months prior to this mishap, with it running continously
in between.
