eudora 1.5.2 10061 error

I am trying to get eudora 1.5.2 to work with winsock on wfwf 3.11 on a
pentium p60 pc.

I have working netscape, mosaic, news, gophers and I am using fimail
which is working fine except for its known limits.

I was trying to use eudora but when ever I try a control M - check for
mail I get the following error Could not connect to
"richsoft.demon.co.uk"
reason: connection refused 10061

I can send mail with eudora but not receive, so I feel it could be set
up ok.

Any ideas?
