If you read the small print on the advert, they sell the motherboard in
two versions: with write-back cache (55 pounds) or 256Kb SRAM L2 cache
(70 pounds).

Check the prices on motherboard+cpu combos carefully and compare them
with the separate prices for the board and CPU. The person who does
their pricing is a couple of tinnies short of a six-pack and buying
it one way can be cheaper than buying it the other (if you see what I
mean).

Having said the above, the company is in my bad books at the moment for
cashing a cheque three weeks ago and not sending me any goods yet. Ever
tried to get through to their sales line? Either they have just one line
or the idiots leave it off the hook all day. Oh yeah....the one time I
did get a ringing tone the bastards ignored it.

Like a lot of these mail-order cowboy outfits, if you pay by credit card
(or preferably debit card, no surcharge), you'll get goods pretty damn
quick. Any other method = problems.
