The City Club is a truly beautiful place. And as I alluded above, the Hearst Pool at UC Berkeley is a Julia Morgan design, the marble makes the pool water glow, it's a lovely experience to swim there. I was lucky enough to live in a Julia Morgan house when I was at Berkeley. She had an amazing sense of space, the little nooks and crannies and light elements she built into what was obviously a middle class home were really wonderful. ObFood: Musashi, where I'd grab a rice bowl after my swim a couple times each week. If you're checking out Boalt, this little stand at the Telegraph Ave. entrance to campus is worth checking out for a quick and cheap meal. Amalia
