In order to better answer your question let me pose a scenario: You're a staff writer for FoodTV or PBS. You get a rare opportunity to script a show called "Best of: Central California" that allows you to draw on personal experience and perhaps a chance to throw "shout-outs" to your favorite eating establishments in the area. So...could ya'll (hehe) tell me one or two places? Also which items you like so much there or the house specialties (basically the "why"). I don't intend to be a pain in the neck with my quandry, I just enjoy food! I'm hoping the newsgroup(s) of food lovers will be talkative.
