So often we are at a disadvantage when it comes to seeing ourselves out of our issues. Yet we can often help another with the same issue. The reason we *confused* keep at it is that we ourselves are ultimately healed through our becoming mirrors for others. In our reflecting back process we slowly open our own eyes to our own awakening. My poems healed me of great pain. I had no one to talk to and didn't even have a computer at the time. The web could have done this much faster than the poems, but(like you)--- writing for me is therapy. I am in awe of the power of the written word. That they can evoke such emotion is very inspiring for me. Like you I had a lack of self-esteem and didn't feel that anyone ever liked me. I felt they were polite and tolerant of my being there is all... I didn't even want to put my poems on the NG for I figured who would want to read them. Well, I was shown, and quite quickly I might add that others did want to read what I had written. I got well over 500 responses to my poems. The net did much to bring me out of my shell.... I am very thankful to you all for that.... -- Brenda <'-'> Official Lady DreamCatcher of the RFA ** Come check out our web page. ** http://www.frontiernet.net/~ehmka/
