Changing one's outer appearance will do nothing to appease the yearnings and issues that are often the real culprits. These come from within and the only true way to heal--- be it weight, nerves, or whatever is to work from the inside out. This is the hard and often painful approach, but in esssence it is the only REAL way. I could starve myself and lose weight. This will work. However, the weight will come back.. This is proven fact and probably more of it. As one who has taken the inner spiritual approach and come to be on the other side(hehe), I feel I have a little knowledge in this area. I dealt with the emotional, mental, spiritual, physical doubt that I would ever, EVER be good enough for anyone for any reason. I had issues galore. I will not say it wasn't painful to look upon myself (as is) with brutal candid reality-- and honesty, but I did it. I did not like much of what I saw. So---- I razed the foundation and started over, from the personality to the body from the ground up. It took over 3 years to feel some sense of being on solid ground, but at least *this* ground was of my choosing and I felt comfortable with and within it. Changing your appearance will only help if that is what you want to do and for yourself, your health and well-being. I work out because it FEELS GOOD! I work out because I like the rush of blood that tells me I am alive and moving. That my body reflects this is a bonus... Being tall is not a problem. There are many women who only opt for the tall guy. There are women who only want a more huskier man for they make them feel their smallness. It is a kaleidoscope of different shapes and sizes. The trick is in finding one who appreciates us for the person and the size that we are. There is someone for everyone. There are advantages and disadvantages to all proportions of bodies. To being the best YOU you can be... Just BE yourself. You chose to be here in the body form you have for a reason. Know that you are unique AS IS........
