I agree 100%. We had a SLC96 brought in here over the summer. I remember
the day it came they had to bring it in from the street with a crane.
A construction crew closed off the street in front of City Hall to lay the
cable the week before. We even took pictures of it coming in. Crazy.
Anyway, all I'm thinking is 'Wow, all this just for our users. They
are going to have the best connections possible now. ' I remember 
telling my guys that most other 'small' providers would kill to get 
something like this installed. Having the SLC meant we were not that 
small anymore. Three days after its installed, people start calling 
saying that their connect speeds have dropped abit. Their connects were 
better when we had copper, T1's, and those god-awful $4000 channel banks. 
It really seems like a no-win situation sometimes...
Anyway, my $0.02 worth.
