I play the self serving role here and state that ABSnet users all
USR Courier V.34+ modems in our modem pools.  Granted I would never
guarantee that a user would get a 33.6K connect (in fact I have never
met a V.34+ user that has seen a 33.6K connect), but the capability 
and potential is available.  I'll leave it at that and say for
