Does bigger mean better? I don't think this area needs growth.
But I'm sure there are plenty of special interests who will
profit nicely in the short run on growth. Growth is like
a pyramid scheme. Eventually it blows up, but the blow-up
may come a generation or two later.

Perhaps I'm over-reacting, but do we need professional sports here?
Do we need the increase in population that it takes to support
professional sports? That's what all these new roads do: support
population growth, new subdivisions, etc. I'd like to see us
move towards sustainable economies, not just a dependence on growth.

My two cents worth.
