I was talking to a friend recently wo recalls the Zeppelin raid on
Edinburgh in ( I think) 1915. He lived in Rodney St at the time, down
near Canonmills, and the presumed target was a factory where the William
Low supermarket now is.

At this factory they made - gasp - Poison Gas.

Does anyone know anything about this, or can anyone suggest any books?

Thanks
M

Ye hypocrites! are these your pranks? To murder men and give God thanks?
Desist, for shame! Proceed no further: God won't accept your thanks for murther.
