I think Tea you can find in Tokyo will be available in Sapporo as
well. (I bet you can get almost everything in Sapporo... )

It would be difficult to pick good tea without local supervision.
When in doubt, choose the expensive ones. Buy it in a special tea
shop. (I found some horrendous(sp?) GREEN TEA in Tokyo. I am from
Shimizu-city, Shizuoka-ken which produced probably 50% of green tea in
Japan. Hills in Shimizu-city are covered with either tea shrub or
orange trees. Unless you get away from the main city area, you can't
find wild fauna much. So trust me. It is difficult to pick good tea. I
can't speak for BLACK tea. I can appreciate the taste of good black
tea, but I can drink tea made from Lipton tea bag without complaint :-))
